Growth cycle of poodle
There is no big difference between teacup poodle breed and toy poodle breed during breast feeding period. After five months old teacup poodle breed will start to become more distinguished among these two poodle breeds. Teacup poodle breed will start to grow slower after 7-8 months old. For other poodle breeds are completed different, they grow faster during 4-8 months.
Teacup poodle breed is below 8inch and under 4lbs.

But one of the poodles would need to have teacup poodle bloodline, in order to generate next teacup poodle generation(s).
However, it doesn’t promise you would get a teacup poodle or tiny toy poodle. Also, it would be difficult for anyone to judge whether a new born puppy is going to be a teacup size poodle.
A professional poodle breeder would estimate size of each poodle around 9 months old, and there are two formulas to result the size of future poodle. The accuracy is 70-80%, here are the two formulas:
1. When the puppy is 10 week old:
Weight x2 + 0.5lbs = an adult dog weight
2. When the puppy is 12 weeks old: Weight x2 = an adult dog weight
☆Please note: The formulas above are not suitable to AKC standard of toy poodle.
