If you plan to travel oversea and wish to bring your beloved dog with you,
we suggest you to read this article.

In this article we are going to tell you what to do is the best to both of you.
Most of the airlines have sufficient experience in shipping animals by air. 
Also,  airline companies all have official restrictions for animal shipping.

Furthermore, there is always something extra you can do to protect your dog and provide him/her a safe journey.


1. 7-10 day before departure – bring your dog to your vet and ask for a health check with a heath travel document. 

2. During the transporting, your dog will need a verified cage. According to law the cage would have a certain size limitation and made by required material.  


3. Most of the airlines and vets wouldn’t recommend feeding your dog sedative.
    When a dog under a sedative (tranquilizer),
    if the flight is going through an unstable air the dog
    might not able to react this would caused its injured.    

And the side affect is another concern you should take it to your consideration. 

4. Enough water supply.


5. Name tag or a collar is a must.
    Otherwise, you can put a picture of the dog wiht its name,
    your destination and contact number.   

6. Before your departure, please do make sure you have followed all the rules of your airline.



Direct Flight is important It can be difficult for you to predict the temperature/ weather while transiting. Your beloved dog can face a dramatic climate changing that beyond of our control. After all, the best is to choose direct flight for your animal if you could.

What if it is necessary that your dog have to travel by indirect flights?
It can all depend on your airline as the local weather
might not suitable for your dog/other animals.
The last but not least
Not every aircraft can adjust the pressure and temperature for your animal(s).
Do not forget to talk to one of the flight attendance for further assistant. Please do contact your vet or any other professional advices.
