de-fleaing your beloved teacup dogs on a regular basis is very important
if you two are to sleep on the same bed together.
flea prevention products not only can keep fleas and other parasites 
away  from your pets, they can also prevent the outburst of
contagious diseases in animals from happening.
small indoor pets such as teacup dogs in particular,
are mainly kept in the house or other indoor spaces
and that owners should make extra efforts
in keeping their living environments nice and clean.

ticks are small arachnids (external parasites) living on the
blood of mammals, served as reservoirs for Lyme disease
found and transferable in both humans and animals.
common symptoms are swells in spleens and livers, fever,
drops in appetite; and if passed onto humans, it can lead to
serious fevers and also cause problems in their nerve systems.

to avoid Lyme disease in teacup dogs, the most important thing
is to completely wipe out the chance of ticks getting anywhere
close to your pets. if unfortunately, you notice a tick secretly crawls
between the hair of your teacup dog, quickly grab a fine toothed comb,
gently hold it against the skin of your teacup dog
and remove the tick with the help of the comb as soon as possible.
alternatively you may also use a ___?___ to get rid of it,
and it's best to have gloves on during the process
to avoid direct contact of the tick and your skin surface.
give a thorough cleanse on the area(s) where the tick had been
and after successfully remove the ticks from your pet,
don't forget to wash your hands too.
in addition to regular environmental sanitation,
owners may also purchase tick prevention products
such as drops, sprays, or neck belts for extra protection.
