the biggest disadvantage about teacup poodles eating feces is that
such behaviour not only makes the audience uncomfortable,
but also embarrasses the owner in front of their family and friends
as if all the training given was a total waste of time...

although it's perfectly normal for canines to consume feces
(of their own or others') to make up for the missing nutrition in their diet,
bear in mind that feces (especially the ones exposed under the sun)
provides the best environments for parasites/bacteria/viruses
to grow which may affect the health of whoever consumes it.

Teacup Poodle (Teddy Bear) Guideline 40 :
How To Stop Them From Eating Feces?

despite regular defleaing, annual health check-ups and vaccinations
that keep
teacup poodles away from diseases and parasites,
we encourage owners to try the following techniques, too,
as it helps to
 improve the owner-pet relationship effectively.

...and it's totally fine to attempt these at home >.^

【no more Coprophagiaeasy tricks】

●【Zero Chance】●

clean up the feces as soon as your teacup poodle finished eliminating;
put a Elizabethian Collar around their neck to avoid direct contact with feces;
use a leash to pull away your teacup poodle from the feces after elimination;
and lastly, sanitise and keep the living environment feces-free,
giving the teacup poodles zero-chance of getting near any feces.

●【STOP】●

quickly drag away the teacup poodle's attention from feces to you
by calling their names or asking them to
"STOP"
with a sharp, loud voice tone. definitely no physical punishments
otherwise it's only going to make things worse.

do not punish the teacup poodle if he/she's already finished eating feces
or they won't understand why are they being punished and
for what reason, nor will they learn not to repeat such behaviour next time.

●【Encouragement】●

use your teacup poodle's favourite toy to distract them from the feces
for him/her to forget to smell the feces after elimination.
don't forget to reward your teacup poodle when
he/she does not show interests in feces anymore.

●【Spice It Up】●

spray a generous amount of strong-flavoured spices on the feces
(such as hot chili pepper, bitter food ingredients and so on),
make sure the amount is enough
to give your teacup poodles
a super big surprise
once and for all, for them not wanting to

get anywhere close to feces ever again in their life.
alternatively, observe what's the smell/taste that your teacup poodle
hates the most,
replace chili pepper with that and see what happens.

●【Obey the Order】●

only works for well-trained teacup poodles who understand words
such as "NO", "SIT", "COME".

after elimination, give out instructions to teacup poodles
for them to do things as told by the owners,
in some ways this also helps
to prevent teacup poodles from growing an interest towards feces.

●【Potty Train】●

keep the potty clean and tidy at all times

●【Quality Food】●

go for the quality instead of quantity when selecting foods.
cheaper dog food normally contain less nutrition,
hence a possible diet imbalance.

it's very important for owners to choose foods that contain
higher fat and protein,
and avoid changing brands too frequently.

Coprophagia

Coprophagy refers to many kind of feces eating including
eating feces of other species (heterospecifics),
other individuals (allocoprophagy),
or its own (autocoprophagy).
different treatments required for coprophagia
via behavioural/medical aspects.
owners have the responsibility to find out what's
really causing their teacup poodles to consume feces,

(through ___?___ or ___?___ behavioural aspects),
in addition to the techniques suggested above, together
they should help improve Coprophagia in teacup poodles.

seek for medical advice if the condition become worse.
