special pet grooming experiences with us anytime.

aww sooo hot!!! summer has finally arrived.
unlike humans, Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) don't have as many
sweat glands, and seeing the tongues of Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears)
sticking out trying so hard to release as much body heat as possible
really brings the empathy out of their owners...
as a result of that, many would consider giving their Teacup Poodles
(Teddy Bears) a whole-body shave to help them feel better though it's
probably going  to make them look less adorable without the fluffiness.

Teacup Poodle (Teddy Bear)
Grooming Guideline  17: Getting A Shave

during hot seasons, it's understandable that many owners would send their
Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) to pet salons (or do it their own) to shave off
all of their hair to help them release body heat.

however, many did not know that those thick curly hair is actually the most
natural outer protection of Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) which is not only
going to keep them warm during cold seasons, and also helps to adjust
body heat according to changes of seasons.

if owners go on and remove ALL of those hair, it's actually going to do more
harm to Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) than good as naked body skin will
increase the chance of Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) getting direct contact
with ultraviolet (UV), leading to overheating and so on.

moreover, as Teacup Poodles (Teddy Bears) with a shaved body
are more likely to get external injuries such as cuts, scrapes and scratches;
it is highly suggested that owners not to shave off ALL of their hair
but to keep at a minimum of 1/3 of the original length for protection reasons.
